Description

Going through life, at all of its stages, is hard. Adding Tourette Syndrome (TS) on top of that brings its own slew of hurdles. The beauty of life and its complexities is that none of us have to go through it alone, especially in this wonderful TS and Tic Disorder community. But how do you navigate not knowing how to find your own support system? This interactive presentation will focus on how the presenters found their own support systems, and how those support systems changed and grew over time. Participants will be asked to name who the most important people in their lives were in three different stages: childhood, teenage years, and young adulthood, with the goal of highlighting that no one is alone – whether you have a great support system already in place or are still building yours.
